Arrival and Car Parking:
The Falstaff Hotel & Restaurant is situated on Addington Street, which is a one-way street, entered from the harbour end. There is designated parking for the Falstaff situated behind the building, but there is no on-street parking.
The Falstaff, is very well situated for Ramsgate town and beaches, both being less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The Island bus service runs nonstop round the Isle of Thanet, from Ramsgate to Margate, via Broadstairs. A bus stop is situated about 100 metres away, at the end of Addington Street, on West Cliff Road. Ramsgate railway station is a short bus ride away, or a 20 minute walk. The Channel Tunnel and Dover ferries are a short journey by car, of approximately 35-40 minutes.
The entrance to the hotel and restaurant is from Addington Street, and is a step-free entrance. Our restaurant and bar bathroom facilities for wheelchair users are located at ground level. The bar, and restaurant areas are suitable for wheelchair users, but not for mobility scooters. The entrance door opening is 840 mm wide
The Falstaff has eight individually designed bedrooms all available via stairs with hand rails. Unfortunately, there is no lift and due to the large number of stairs, the hotel rooms are not suitable for wheelchair users or mobility scooters. Guests with limited mobility should discuss with reception which bedrooms are suitable for their needs.
