The Falstaff is a boutique hotel and restaurant that takes its name from the historic inn that occupied this building for over 200 years. We launched at the end of 2015 after a meticulous 3-year restoration. The building's charm and character now shine through in each of our 8 luxurious en-suite rooms, complemented by carefully selected vintage furniture and bespoke fittings.

A HISTORICAL BUILDING IN A HISTORICAL TOWN
Originally built as two houses in 1801, they were combined and altered into the Falstaff public house at some time between 1821 - 1840. The building is thought to have connections with Sir Arthur Wellesley - the Duke of Wellington. It has an ornately decorated room at the rear of the building (the Waterloo Room) which is believed to have been used to host war council meetings at the height of the Napoleonic wars. The Waterloo Room is perfect for parties, seminars, meetings and smaller wedding receptions. Its history and elegance make it perfect for any occasion..

Breakfast: 7.30am - 11am (Mon - Sat) 8:00am - 11am (Sun)
Lunch: 12pm - 3pm (Mon - Sun)
Dinner: 6pm - 9pm (Wed -Sat)

Our new menu includes healthy breakfast options, Polly's incredible smoothies, delicious nibbles, cakes & toasted sandwiches.
Fresh & colorful salad are available along a ray of vegan Kentish wines from Barnsole vineyard and Polly's sensational vegan meat or sausage rolls.
