Royal harbour surrounded by Georgian elegance

Ramsgate is a seaside town on the Isle of Thanet in East Kent. It has the only Royal Harbour in the country and is full of beautiful buildings, quirky shops and has a stunning Blue Flag beach. The Falstaff is located in Addington Street, within the West Cliff conservation area, and a short distance from the Royal Harbour.

Addington Street was originally the high street for the West Cliff area of Ramsgate. With its historic buildings, cafés, and shops, it is generally considered to be the artists' quarter of Ramsgate and is home to the Addington Street Historical fair which takes place in September every year.

Ramsgate offers miles of sandy beaches, a beautiful harbour within a short walk and much to see throughout the rest of Thanet. A short drive can take you to the picturesque town of Sandwich, the lovely beach town of Broadstairs or the Turner Contemporary, Dreamland and Old Town in Margate.
